Apollo Health Street Announces New VP of Operations

Conshohocken, Penn. – Apollo Health Street, a developer of world-class solutions that tackle healthcare’s toughest financial and IT challenges, named 20-year healthcare veteran Wendy Young as vice president of operations, the company announced today.

Young will oversee operations at Apollo Health Street’s headquarters in Conshohocken, Pa. Working across Apollo’s four core business units, Young will be a key member of the company’s leadership team and will focus on carrying out the organization’s day-to-day and forward-looking initiatives.

“We are thrilled to bring Wendy Young to the Apollo team,” said Apollo Health Street CEO Andrew DeVoe. “Her considerable knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry, coupled with expertise in revenue cycle operation, claims management systems and business office outsourcing solutions, is a significant asset to our team. We look forward to working together to better meet the needs of our clients.”

Young comes to Apollo Health Street with an extensive healthcare background, including her most recent five-year tenure as vice president of operations with ARC Group Associates. While at ARC, she focused on driving internal growth and performance improvement, while also assisting hospital and healthcare clients with solutions to maximize cash flow and collections from payers. Previously, Young held positions, including regional revenue cycle solutions director, with Perot Systems Healthcare.

Young graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Health Service Administration. She is a member of Healthcare Financial Management Association and the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management.
