Qualifications:
B.Tech, B.Sc (Maths /Computers /Science) preferably with MCSE / CCNA certified
Prerequisites:
• 3+ years of overall experience with at least a 1 year experience on Exchange server
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Should have good understanding/exposure on LAN / data systems
• Exposure to quality standards and business processes would be an added advantage
• Energetic, self motivated professional should be able to drive things independently
• Good experience on Windows platform.
• Hands on experience on desktop support
• Strong written and oral English communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Hands-on experience on LAN, VLAN
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking
Job description:
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot information systems that incorporate Microsoft Windows 2000 and Exchange Server
• Configure, operate, and trouble-shoot Active Directory and Exchange Services to manage single and multiple domains
• Administer system vulnerability patches Apply Service Packs and other updates Identifying problem areas and finding out ways to reduce that
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with minimum 1 implementation of complete Exchange platform set up (migration from 5.5 to 2003 etc)
• Working varied versions of Exchange simultaneously
• Implementation of Active Directory Integration for migration to single domain
• Should have expertise in backup products
• Expertise in WINS, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP protocol suite and command line utilities
• Day-to-day administration of windows environment
• Worked with patching and antivirus tools Expertise in IIS / Web Services.
• Worked with various hardware platforms (IBM/HP/DELL)
• Strong domain knowledge on networking infrastructure
• Experience developing and maintaining procedural documentation
• Administration and manage a Windows Server and Exchange Environment
• Strong knowledge on Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows 2003 including Active Directory
